IROS-RSJ Robotic Challenge for Young Students

The Robotics Lab (UC3M) is organizing the IROS-RSJ Robotic Challenge for Young Students included in the IROS 2021 activities. The main objective of the Challenge is to create interest and incentive in the robotic careers of young students, defined as university students of first courses, and last courses of elementary and high schools. El comité organizador y jurado de la octava edición del Premio Ada Byron a la Mujer Tecnóloga, de la Universidad de Deusto, ha otorgado el galardón correspondiente a 2021 a Elena García Armada. Elena García Armada es una ingeniera industrial española que lidera el grupo del CSIC que ha desarrollado el primer exoesqueleto biónico del mundo para niños con atrofia muscular espinal desde la empresa fundada por ella, MARSI Bionics.

The organizing committee and jury of the eighth edition of the University of Deusto’s Ada Byron Award for Women Technologists has awarded the 2021 prize to Elena García Armada. Elena García Armada is a Spanish industrial engineer who leads the CSIC group that has developed the world’s first bionic exoskeleton for children with spinal muscular atrophy from the company she founded, MARSI Bionics.

El pasado jueves 2 de septiembre, en el marco de las Jornadas de Automática, se entregó el premio CEA al Prof. Miguel Angel Salichs por su contribución al desarrollo de la automática en España por su contribución a la robótica social reconocida internacionalmente.

Last Thursday 2nd, as part of the Jornadas de Automática, CEA award was presented to Prof. Miguel Angel Salichs for his contributions to the development of Automation in Spain and his internationally recognized contributions in the field of social robotics.

Following the signing of a collaboration agreement with the EDIH CCSAI initiative (Krakow, Poland) RoboCity2030 is participating in a virtual meeting (June 11th) between various DIHs in an initiative organised from Poland. More details can be found in the agenda of this website.
