The MONARCH project focus is on social robotics using networked heterogeneous robots and sensors to interact with children, staff, and visitors, engaging in edutainment activities in the pediatric infirmary at the portuguese oncology institute at lisbon (IPOL), portugal. Cognitive Rehabilitation of Apraxia and Action Disorganisation Syndrome

Neurological patients due to stroke may suffer from disrupted action due to cognitive deficits which prevent them from maintaining independent lives. CogWatch will focus on neurological patients with symptoms of Apraxia and Action Disorganisation Syndrome (AADS) who, while maintaining their motor capabilities, commit cognitive errors during every-day goal-oriented tasks which premorbidly they used to perform automatically. Hard materials machining has recently attracted great attentions from the European automotive, the aerospace and the biomedical industries. Intelligent sensing and manipulation for sustainable production and harvesting of high value crops, clever robots for crops

CROPS has developed scientific know-how for a highly configurable, modular and clever carrier platform that includes modular parallel manipulators and intelligent tools (sensors, algorithms, sprayers, grippers) that can be easily installed onto the carrier and are capable of adapting to new tasks and conditions. Several technological demonstrators have been developed for high value crops like greenhouse vegetables, fruits in orchards, and grapes for premium wines.
