Universidad Carlos III de Madrid
The RoboticsLab research group of the Carlos III (University) in Madrid (http://roboticslab.uc3m.es) is currently composed of 37 people of whom 17 are doctors. Although this university was created only recently, its members are pioneers in Robotics at the national level, since the onset of the eighties. The group is focused in the research of Service Robotics in general, and specifically, in robots for personal use, entertainment, construction, space and handicapped people. Currently, the group participates in four projects of the CICYT (PRA, Sidemar, Rh-1, IPCIS) all of them in the field of Robotics for the DPI program, in one European project of the 6th Framework Program, as well as Robotics (ManuBuild), in two networks for the European Excellence in the field of Robotics (Euron and Clawar) and in two, long-term industrial projects with multi-national companies (PSA and ACSDragados).
