Elena García Armada, Ada Byron award

The organizing committee and jury of the eighth edition of the University of Deusto's Ada Byron Award for Women Technologists has awarded the 2021 prize to Elena García Armada. Elena García Armada is a Spanish industrial engineer who leads the CSIC group that has developed the world's first bionic exoskeleton for children with spinal muscular atrophy from the company she founded, MARSI Bionics.
