POTATO, a new low cost robot

POTATO is a low cost robot developed by UPM used as assistant robot. Examples of social applications, although not the only ones, are people with special needs, such as company for the elderly, or children with autism. The robot is also a platform to integrate and test Artificial Intelligence techniques. One of the main goals is to work towards emotional intelligence in social robotics, focusing on human robot interaction by means of advanced behavior adaptation.
